Alexandria Fortenbery is a graduate student at UMKC and will receive her MA in Counseling with a Mental Health emphasis in the summer of 2022. She is passionate in helping those facing grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Her approach is collaborative and holistic, primarily drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Alexandria enjoys working with clients of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, races, and cultural backgrounds.

Life can be heavy and you don’t have to carry that weight alone. Alexandria Fortenbery creates a space where adolescents and adults can come to breathe, to be, and to experience unconditional acceptance. She is honored to walk alongside clients on their journey and offer tools that they can carry with them on their way forward.
