ANNA SAVIANO, MA, LPC, LCPC

Anna Saviano graduated Drake University with a BS in Psychology, minoring in women’s studies and sociology. Upon returning to Kansas City, Anna earned an MA in Counseling and Guidance from UMKC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Anna has a wide range of professional experience, including working as the Intake Specialist at MOCSA (Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Abuse) and at Two Rivers Psychiatric Hospital early in her career. Anna Saviano has been an adjunct professor at UMKC and in private practice for over five years.

Her therapeutic practice focuses on resolving past issues that continue to interfere with current life. Anna believes clients have the resources they need. She values the opportunity to witness and assist as clients build the life they envision.
