Kegan England is a graduate student at Avila University working on her MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Assessment. She understands how much one’s mental health can affect them daily and is passionate about helping individuals develop the skills that enable them to regain the confidence and ability to create a life worth living.
By centering her approach on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Kegan hopes to provide a welcoming environment that helps individuals develop the insight to identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and work toward developing new thoughts and behaviors that are more in line with their values and goals.
Kegan is welcoming to all identities and understands the importance of guiding individuals in a way that is best suited for them. Kegan hopes that the skills learned within sessions are one’s that individuals can carry with them throughout their life, allowing them to believe in their ability to make positive change.
